Welcome to Alternative Healing Life Center (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website located at https://www.alternativehealinglc.com/ and all services, programs, memberships, and digital products we offer (collectively, the “Services”). Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the website or any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

 

1.  Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website or Services in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not access or use our website or Services.

 

2.  Services Provided

Alternative Healing Life Center offers two distinct categories of services. It is important that you understand the nature of each before engaging, as your rights, protections, and the applicable legal framework differ between them.

A.  Confidential Clinical Services

Alternative Healing Life Center provides the following licensed, confidential clinical services:

• Psychotherapy – individual therapy sessions conducted by a licensed mental health professional

• Executive Coaching – structured, goal-oriented professional coaching engagements

These services are provided under a formal written clinical or coaching services agreement. When you engage in psychotherapy with a licensed clinician at Alternative Healing Life Center, a professional therapeutic relationship is established and your information is protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable state law. You will receive and must execute separate informed consent, confidentiality, and notice of privacy practices documents prior to beginning these services.

HIPAA NOTICE: Psychotherapy services provided by licensed clinicians at Alternative Healing Life Center are confidential and HIPAA-compliant. Protected Health Information (PHI) disclosed in the context of a clinical therapeutic relationship will not be shared without your written authorization, except as required by law.

Executive coaching engagements, while confidential by agreement, are not clinical services and are not governed by HIPAA. The confidentiality terms applicable to executive coaching are set forth in your individual coaching services agreement.

B.  Non-Clinical Wellness Services & Community Programs

Alternative Healing Life Center also offers a range of non-clinical, wellness-oriented programs and community experiences, including:

• The Healing Circle membership and community access

• Group wellness programs and courses

• Wellness courses and digital content

• Sound healing and energy work

IMPORTANT: The Healing Circle and all other non-clinical programs listed above are educational and personal development services only. Participation does not establish a therapist-client, counselor-client, or any other professional clinical relationship. These services are not governed by HIPAA, and information shared in community spaces may be visible to other members. See Section 4 for a full explanation of the distinction between clinical and non-clinical services.

 

3.  Eligibility

Our Services are intended solely for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By accessing or using the website or any Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are accessing the Services with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

We reserve the right to deny access to any individual who does not meet these eligibility requirements.

 

4.  Non-Clinical Services; No Professional Relationship

IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE: This section applies exclusively to non-clinical services, including the Healing Circle membership, group wellness programs, courses, and community spaces. Participation in these non-clinical services does not establish a therapist-client, counselor-client, physician-patient, or any other professional clinical relationship. If you are engaged in psychotherapy or executive coaching under a separate written services agreement with Alternative Healing Life Center, the terms of that agreement and applicable law govern that relationship.

 

For all non-clinical services—including the Healing Circle, group wellness programs, courses, and community spaces—no clinical relationship is created. As such:

• No duty of clinical care is created;

• Communications and information shared in non-clinical spaces are not protected as confidential therapeutic communications;

• HIPAA protections do not apply to non-clinical services or community spaces;

• Content shared in community spaces such as the Healing Circle may be visible to other members.

If you require clinical mental health support, medical advice, or crisis intervention, we strongly encourage you to consult a licensed healthcare provider. In an emergency, please contact 911 or the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

 

5.  Disclaimer of Medical Advice

All content, materials, sessions, and communications provided through our Services are intended for informational, educational, and personal wellness purposes only. Nothing provided by Alternative Healing Life Center constitutes medical advice, a medical diagnosis, or a recommended course of medical treatment.

You should always consult a qualified and licensed medical or mental health professional before making decisions about your physical or mental health, or before altering any treatment plan prescribed by your healthcare provider. Reliance on any information or content provided through our Services is solely at your own risk.

 

6.  Intellectual Property

All content accessible through our website and Services—including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, audio, video, course materials, and software—is owned by or licensed to Alternative Healing Life Center and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from our website or Services without our prior written consent. Unauthorized use may give rise to a claim for damages and/or constitute a criminal offense.

 

7.  User Responsibilities & Prohibited Conduct

By using our website and Services, you agree to:

8.  Payment and Refund Policy

All payments made for Services, digital products, courses, or memberships are processed at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise expressly stated in the applicable service agreement or product description:

• All sales are final and non-refundable;

• No refunds will be issued for partially used memberships, subscription periods, or digital products that have been accessed;

• Chargebacks initiated without prior contact with us may result in suspension of your account.

 

If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us promptly at info@alternativehealinglc.com. We will review such inquiries in good faith on a case-by-case basis.

 

9.  Memberships and Subscriptions

If you purchase a membership or subscription, you agree to the billing terms disclosed at the time of purchase, including any recurring charges. You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information.

We reserve the right to modify membership pricing or benefits with reasonable advance notice. Failure to maintain payment in good standing may result in suspension or cancellation of access without further obligation on our part.

 

10.  Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alternative Healing Life Center, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, coaches, and facilitators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the website or Services—even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any content or Service. We do not guarantee any specific results, outcomes, or improvements from participation in our wellness programs, courses, or community spaces.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, in which case the above limitations may not apply to you.

 

11.  Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alternative Healing Life Center and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the website or Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

Alternative Healing Life Center does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, accuracy, or reliability of any third-party site. 15.  Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Services that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in accordance with the rules of a mutually agreed-upon arbitration body, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.

By using our Services, you waive any right to a jury trial and agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis, not as part of any class or representative action.
